Electronic Technician
Advanced Integration Technology, LP (AIT) is a Dallas, Texas-based global provider of turnkey aerospace factory automation, including the design, fabrication, installation and maintenance of fully integrated plant floor systems. AIT is committed to technological innovation and reliability.

As an integral part of the AIT team, the successful candidate will be an active participant in the fabrication, assembly, integration, startup, and commissioning of very large scale automated aerospace assembly systems.

The candidate will work closely with the Manufacturing and Design Departments and will maintain this relationship throughout the customer-development cycle.

The candidate will work directly with the customer to solve manufacturing and installation issues in a timely manner.

Job Skills and Knowledge:

A background in mechanical and electronic technology is essential.

The ideal candidate will have excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills, the ability to learn and apply new concepts quickly and effectively, and will be a team player.

In addition, the ideal candidate will have strong written and verbal communication skills.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Ensure high-quality product through internal testing and adherence to quality standards
• Communicate effectively with customers, engineers, project managers, and team members regarding system requirements, system testing, installation guidelines and scheduling
• Carry out testing and installation activities while working with multiple teams
• Travel to manufacturing and customer sites (40-60% travel required)
• Assist the customer in the installation of equipment
• Become familiar with how AIT implements automated assembly systems in the aerospace industry

Background: Education/Experience

• Two to four years work experience in mechanical and electronic technology, or equivalent
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
