Mechanical Technologist
Advanced Integration Technology Canada Inc. (AITCA) is part of a global provider of turnkey Aerospace Factory Automation, including the design, fabrication, installation and maintenance of fully integrated plant floor systems. AITCA is committed to technological innovation and reliability. Our fast-growing Aldergrove manufacturing facilities have a need for a mechanical technologist.

As an integral part of the AITCA team, the successful candidate will be responsible for creating bills of materials from 3D models and all mechanical drawings. The candidate will support the Production, Fabrication and Machining Departments and will report directly to the Project Manager.

Primary focus will be in the following areas:

• Creating bills of materials
• 3D modelling
• Visual Manufacturing
• Creating mechanical drawings

Qualifications:

• Graduate of Mechanical Engineering Technology program or equivalent experience
• Experience in Solid Works and CATIA V
• Knowledge of Visual Manufacturing an asset
• Experience in heavy manufacturing environment an asset
• Ability to read mechanical drawings
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple projects
• Must be a team player
• Must be detail-oriented with consistent work habits and able to take initiative
